Back to School Program at Komples Kebajikan Rokiah

Last week on 16-Nov-2008 a few friends went to Mydin USJ and bought >RM7,000 (from donation and zakat fund) worth of school equipment.
The target recipients is 2 school in Kedah and an orphanage in Bangi.
The orphanage is known as Kompleks Kebajikan Rokiah.

Surprise Birthday @ Rumah Ilham 23 March 2004

For 2 weeks chief conspirator M plan and keeping tight lipped about the impending surprise birthday for the birthday boy. It was indeed a surprise for him when his family came along.....

Who are we ?
We are like minded young working executives who shares deep concerned and have strong interest with underpriviledged children.
What do we do ?
At the moment we are supervising their prep(aration) hours 8-10 pm on weeknights. We have plans for other activity with the children in the near future.

Damai visit 7th March 2004
Attendees : Nazreen, Siti, Aizan, Norma, Aida (PTD), Azlan, Ilyana, Faiyaz, Sherie, Charles, Roni, Farina, Adita, Farah N and Hafiza.
Many of us arrive before 9 as agreed with the management. The not so good
news, many of the students went out for ko-ku activites, sports etc. There
were only about 50 of them left.
After unloading the donation (clothes, books, food etc) we start breakfast
nasi lemak with them. We invite the single mom too. Next we have the puffs-
curry and cream, there's more kuih, forgot what.... After that, the
volunteers help to scoop ice-cream to the kids. Adita, would have lead us
SCOOP-ing the ice-cream, instead the children, repeatedly gave her the
ice-cream to eat!
To kill time before arrival of the VIP birthday boy, we play musical chair
with the kids. They were very competitive. Some cried too during the
elimination process. Prizes were given to those who won. There were
*dungga* session too, (was it ?)
Finally it was the birthday celebration time. Naz on the 6th, Azlan on the
7th, Aida on the 9th (in advance). Volunteer trigger happy, decorate faces
the people celebrating their birthday. Lan due to condition of his ankle
fortunately couldn't run afar.....
We left to Dil's wedding at almost 12pm....
To everyone who participate yesterday, many thanks to you. To those who
